Paul Taylor and Michael Lington headline Spring Jazz and Art Festival

Dynamic performers Paul Taylor and Michael Lington will join forces to co-headline the City of Casselberry’s Spring Jazz & Art Festival on Saturday, March 21, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lake Concord Park. For more information click here! Taylor is a smooth jazz saxophonist who has released 11 albums since his debut On the Horn in 1995. Originally from Denver, he now resides in Las Vegas. He is known for his soulful sweet sound and innovative music. He has collaborated with many R&B vocalists including Regina Bell, Peabo Bryson and Maxi Priest. His most recent album, Countdown, fuses his trademark jazz/funk/soul vibe with prominent elements of synthesized dance and pop, electronica and even a touch of blues. The album’s colorful fusion of grooves and styles was created by the saxophonist and his longtime collaborator, co-writer and producer Dino Esposito. The two share a dynamic several decade long history that began when they played in the same band while attending the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. Esposito’s collaboration with Paul’s 1995 debut On the Horn and continued with Pleasure Seeker (1997), Undercover (2000), Hynotic (2001), Nightlife (2005), Prime Time (2011) and Tenacity (2014). Michael Lington, a Danish-American contemporary saxophonist, songwriter, has released 11 solo albums and has 25 singles that have charted on the Billboard and Radio & Records (R&R) contemporary jazz radio charts. Over the course of his career, Lington has collaborated with Michael BoltonBarry ManilowAaron NevilleMike LoveRay Parker, Jr.Taylor DayneBrian Culbertson, and many others. Lington’s first Christmas album, A Foreign Affair Christmas, was released November 8, 2019 with the lead-off track being George Michael’s Last Christmas featuring French keyboardist and vibraphonist Philippe Saisse
