Public Memorial At Surfside Condo Collapse Site To Mark 1-Year Anniversary

Today marks a year since the deadly Surfside condo collapse and there is a public memorial at 10 this morning for family members, emergency officials and politicians. Rachel Spiegel lost her mom Judy who was missing for nearly three weeks before search-and-rescue crews found her body. She says the hardest part is not getting closure and losing all of the precious family heirlooms. Urban search-and-rescue crews will read the names of the 98 victims and a torch will burn in their memory at Veterans Park. First Lady Jill Biden is among the speakers at today's memorial. There's a special mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 7:30 tonight in Miami Beach tonight and first responders will join the Miami Marlins on the field as they hold a moment of silence before tonight's game.
